For Halloween 2021. Our dog, Buddy, was supposed to be a case of Elsinore beer, but he destroyed his costume and refused to wear it. I took a photo of him next to the broken box as a compromise.
Halloween 2020. We had to stay home due to the pandemic. I still wanted to celebrate my favorite holiday, but didn't feel like spending a lot of time/energy on a costume that I couldn't go out with and show off. This was the creative yet low-effort result.
In 2019, I was a werewolf (classic monsters theme), but didn't take any photos.
In 2020, the Lodge did a drive-through haunted house due to the pandemic, but I did not take part.
2021 — Creepy surgeon (haunted hospital theme).

2023 — Creepy barfly (haunted hotel theme).
2024 — Man-eating lion (creepy circus theme).
My datemate, Curtis, as Sony.
Me as Disney.
In 2019, we won best couple's costume in the Halloween costume contest at work for this one.
October 2019, at a family Halloween party.
October 2019, at the Oak & Otter Halloween party. We won best couple's costume here as well.
October 2019. We attended a Rocky Horror show on Halloween, wearing our costumes, and there was a photo booth.
The particular photo shown here is from Halloween 2011, but I used this as my go-to Halloween costume for multiple years. (The blue hair was my normal look at the time and not part of the costume.)
Halloween 2016. I had to work that night, but employees were allowed to wear costumes for the holiday. (The photo was taken in my bathroom at home.)
July 2011 — For the premier of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.
For Halloween 2018. (The dress was a lighter shade of silver in person.)
October 2018. This photo was taken at a work-sponsored Halloween party at the local bowling alley. It was later featured in our company newsletter in a collage of other co-worker costumes. (The photo shown here is actually a picture of the printed collage, hence why the image is a bit grainy.) Next to me is my soon-to-be-datemate, Curtis, dressed up as The Dude from The Big Lebowski.
October 2012, for a Halloween party at our house. Featuring my roommates, Beth and Jess, as Inspector Spacetime (Community) and a Weeping Angel (Doctor Who).
Halloween 2013. This wasn't even my main costume that year, but I saw the "consulting club" sign and just couldn't resist.
Halloween 2014. I had recently acquired a knock-off replica of Sherlock's coat, so I was excited to upgrade this particular cosplay.
My datemate, Curtis, as Milton Waddams.
Our dog, Buddy, as "pieces of flair."
Me as Milton's stapler.
October 2024. At home shots. Buddy did not want to sit still for his photoshoot, but I did my best.
October 2024, for the Halloween costume contest at work. We did not win.
My datemate, Curtis, as Wednesday (or "MENsday").
Our dog, Buddy, as Cousin Itt.
Me as Thing.
October 2023. At home shots.
October 2023, at the Liquid Gravity Halloween party. We gathered up everyone at the party who was dressed in an Addams Family costume for a "family photo."
October 2023, for the Halloween costume contest at work. Featuring some silly Photoshop work by our friend/coworker, Brian, from the imaging department. We did not win.
October 2017, for my parents' Halloween party. Yes, that's a Night King action figure on my head.
My roommate, David, as The Fox.
My other roommate, Chelsea, as a backup dancer.
Me, also as a backup dancer.
For Halloween 2013. We memorized the dance and performed it at a party.
